Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to explore "Life with Louis".

 

My name is Lynda, I am a life coach, a hair & makeup artist and most importantly a mother to my two boys.

 

Whilst carrying out my busy working life including motherhood, it is very important to me to make sure that I have hobbies that fulfill me and give me time to reflect and "switch off".  I am an advocate for fitting in "me" time for mental wellbeing and relaxation,  including tennis, golf, keeping fit and DIY projects.

 

Life with Louis is a platform where I share my journey of raising a child with additional needs, the triumphs, and the challenges. It's a space where I share pictures and videos of our rollercoaster journey, with all the ups and downs that we have gone through together. Within the 14 years of raising Louis , I have acquired high levels of coping skills to parent Louis successfully to enhance his character, his independence and with certain strategies and skills for him to live a full and independent life.  I can offer support, ongoing guidance, and tips on resources you may need to guide you through your own journey.

In summary, I have experienced the lowest of lows at times in my life, feeling utter despair and not knowing how to cope and where to turn. I have experienced a difficult divorce and raised two children as a singe mother and recently suffered the loss of my mother.  I know how it feels to be out of your depth and to not know where to turn.  But from these experiences and knowledge I have learnt to thrive and live a fulfilling happy life overcoming adversity.
